There are many crimes committed by people that make others ask; “why?” That’s exactly what people in Washington were asking back in December when a slide was stolen from a local playground. Luckily, their question has finally been answered, as the slide was recently found mounted to a bunk bed in a child’s room.
Police in Pasco, Washington went viral recently after sharing the story of the stolen slide, along with pictures of its new home. According to their viral post, “the slide was taken, the top sawed off, it was repainted, and it was mounted on a bunkbed.” Sadly for the child, it was still a crime and police recovered the slide after spotting it in the home.
According to Fox News, police were originally looking for missing car parts when they found the slide. Many online were impressed by the crime, as some pointed out having a slide in their house was a childhood dream. Sadly, it’s still a crime so hopefully more don’t attempt to steal their own bedroom slide.
