We've seen an influx of people moving to Texas over the last few years, but people just coming to visit remains incredibly low.

In fact, a new study from Go 2 Africa found that Texas is the state least overrun with tourists in the nation, at a rate of just two tourists for every one resident.

The study found West Virginia to be the state most overrun with tourists at a rate of 42.4 tourists for every one resident.

Again, this study didn't determine what states are the most popular tourist destinations but compared the number of tourists relative to its population.

The study also found that New York experiences the most amount of tourists at 206 million visitors annually, whereas Alaska had the least at just 2.7 million visitors every year.
