Two suspects have been arrested after leading police officers on a chase through Texas that began in Montgomery County and ended on Hwy. 59 in Humble.

The vehicle had no license plate and was speeding when the chase initiated, ending after the drive bailed from the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot.

The passenger was arrested immediately, and the driver didn't make it very far.  According to FOX 26, police say the driver fell into a ditch and was "soaking wet and bleeding."

The driver tried to explain that he had just come from his girlfriend's apartment, but he failed to realize that the apartments he was referring to were only rented out to the elderly and, according to officers, it did not explain why he was "out of breath, wet and bleeding."

Inside the vehicle, officers found more than $1,000 in Lego sets stolen recently from a local business.

Authorities believe they are also possible linked to more recent thefts in Humble.

One of the suspects had an outstanding warrant.  They are both facing charges of evading in both Montgomery and Harris County.
