Usually when a 16-year-old wrecks their car, it’s quite some time before they can get a new one. However, most of the time those car accidents aren’t caused by tornados. That’s exactly what happened to one teen in Texas earlier this week, but luckily for him, a DFW car dealership has now decided to gift him with a brand new truck.

Many throughout Texas took cover this week as tornados ripped through the Lone Star state. A number of videos were shared online of the damage done by the storm, but it was the one of 16-year-old Riley Leon attempting to drive through a tornado in Elgin, Texas that left many stunned. Luckily for Leon, he survived the accident and became a viral star in the process. Now, after seeing the video, Bruce Lowrie Chevy in Fort Worth has decided to help the kid out.

Leon will now be driving a brand new 2022 red Chevy Silverado thanks to the North Texas dealership. According to NBC DFW, Leon was actually driving home from a job interview at Whataburger when he got caught in the storm. “I honestly didn't know what to do, to grab onto the steering wheel or to start praying,” said Leon. Now, he will have a brand new car for his first day on the job.
