While the housing market has somewhat stabilized in Texas, the construction of new houses in the state is still absolutely booming.
A new report by RubyHome Luxury Real Estate says that Texas leads the nation with the highest new home construction rate!
According to ABC 13, the study examined data from U.S. Census Bureau's 2022 American Community Survey, which included the number of occupied properties and the number of homes built between 2010 and 2022.
The report found that 22.5 % of all occupied housing units in Texas have been built since 2010, adding up to nearly 2.5 million homes out of a total 11 million-plus in the state.
"Residents of Texas are more likely to live in a new, modern property than any other state across the country," the report stated.
