On Halloween, Texas country musician Cody Tate, like many folks, set a bowl outside his front door for trick-or-treaters to grab a piece of candy before moving on to the next house.

Unfortunately, like many folks, Tate was the victim of one party stealing the entire bowl of candy, preventing other kids from grabbing some of their own.

Tate didn't take violation of this Halloween code lightly though and called out the mother and her kids for their egregious actions.

Tate, who plays guitar for the band Whiskey Myers posted the footage form his doorbell camera to Instagram writing, "And this is why you can't trust people. If you know who it is share. I figured it would happen but not adults. Now all the kids after these people can't have any candy."

There are still good people in the world, though.

According to the NY Post, Tate later posted to his Instagram story video of a neighbor re-filling his Halloween bowl with a bag of their own candy.

"There are still good people out there! Neighbor Scott for Halloween MVP!" captioned the video.

The candy snatchers in the video have yet to be identified.
