A stolen truck crashed after a chase through Duncanville while the owner was still sitting in the bed.
According to WFAA, Duncanville Police officers responded to a vehicle theft in progress Monday morning at South Westmoreland Road and West Ledbetter Drive, with the owner of the truck in the bed while the thief was driving it around, trying to escape the police.
The truck would eventually crash, with the suspect attempting to flee on foot.
He was apprehended. The owner of the truck was taken to the hospital following the crash and is in unknown condition. A second victim was also transferred to the hospital.
The suspect was also transported to a hospital with injuries from a dog bite.
