Last week, a six-month-old potbellied pig named Pojo found himself caught in a thorn bush in Springtown, TX.

Pojo's owners couldn't help him escape, and after two hours Mari-Lena Heide Cooper, the CEO of 5150 Farm and Rescue, put out a call on social media for help.

Cooper wrote online, "I will give 100 bucks and a six pack of your favorite beer to anyone who can help us catch this damn pig that's loose off of 199. Three of us tried for two hours to no avail."

Clearly, she struck a nerve with local residents as within 30 minutes, 11 people showed up to rescue Pojo. After about three hours of work, the group was finally able to free the pig.

And as promised, Cooper rewarded each volunteer with $100 and a six-pack of their favorite beer.

After some complications, Cooper revealed eight days after the rescue that Pojo was doing fine, but doctors wanted to keep him on steroid for a few more weeks.'
