If Elon Musk wants to succeed in repurposing "Don't Mess with Texas" for Tesla, he better do a better job of taking care of Texas.

A Waco man has filed a lawsuit against Musk's SpaceX after he alleged that a recent rocket test resulted in damage to his home.

According to KWTX, Edward Leslie claims that the foundation of his home has shifted due to vibrations caused by rocket engine testing at the company's facility in McGregor, about 18 miles west of Waco.

Leslie says that the continuous vibrations and that the foundation shifts caused damage including cracks to the ceiling, brick walls and floor, as well as resulting in the interior doors not staying open.

He is seeking $250,000 to $1 million in damages from SpaceX due to negligence.

SpaceX has yet to respond to the lawsuit.
