When it comes to promotion, most bands will do just about anything to get their name out there. While most would assume Weezer has reached the point in their career where they don’t need a gimmick to promote themselves, the band recently announced a new collaboration that many are calling the strangest business partnership of all time. Weezer announced recently they have teamed up with iRobot to create their own Roomba vacuum.

iRobot, the robotics company responsible for the autonomous cleaner Roomba, announced a new sweepstakes this week for a new iRobot Roomba i7 that comes with a special Weezer skin or “Wroomba.” The Weezer edition of the vacuum looks like a CD as it travels through a home cleaning, according to Billboard. “Are you longing for a new friend? Perhaps a robot one that cleans up after you? We got you covered. Introducing the Wroomba (the w is silent),” the band tweeted announcing the new collaboration.

Weezer also released an advertisement video for their new Roomba that includes some interesting product reviews. “Studies show that 9/10 humans have dreamed of Weezer cleaning their house, but it simply wasn't possible until now,” a screen reads in the video. Hopefully Weezer is better at cleaning than most.
