Businesses close down and their buildings are repurposed into something new. It happens all the time and we shouldn't be shocked by it.
This building conversion in Houston though is quite the attention grabber, as you probably couldn't pick two businesses more unalike than each other.
A former Zone d'Erotica adult store in Houston shut down and its building was repurposed and converted into a Velvet Taco! Well, both stores offer products that make people happy, so maybe they aren't as different as we think.
Per Chron.com, the Zone d'Erotica closed at the location at 2626 West Loop South a few years ago, and was quickly bought up by Velvet Taco and has been operating as the restaurant since.
Before even Zone d'Erotica occupied the space, the building once housed a smoke shop, a Luke's Hamburgers, and a Roy Rogers.
