Visiting the Dallas Holocaust Museum is a somber experience, highlighting some of the worst humanity has to offer.

A new exhibit though will definitely shed some light on WWII history that many history buffs might not have any clue about. Museum president and CEO Mary Pat Higgins told WFAA, “I think this will definitely surprise people.”

Through September, museum visitors can now learn how Walt Disney helped win the war.

Disney created training videos, insignia for troops, as well as designed nose art for planes. Higgins said Disney’s work “really helped boost people’s morale and was uplifting.”

Disney also encouraged US citizens to aid in the war effort and did so all in the service of the country.

The Dallas Holocaust Museum is located at 300 N Houston St, Dallas, TX 75202.

The exhibition runs through Sept. 10.
