Kathy Novak

Kathy now calls the Bay Area home, but there were a few stops along the way to get here.

She was a correspondent for CNN International and Al Jazeera English in Seoul, South Korea, where she covered everything from North Korean nuclear standoffs to the latest K-Pop dance crazes. Before that, she was a reporter and anchor for the Australian network, SBS. Kathy reported for TV, radio, and the website and covered stories including Australian wildfires, Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, and elections around the world from Papua New Guinea to Kuwait.

As you've probably guessed, Kathy loves to travel and when she's not planning her next adventure or skiing in Tahoe, she's making her way through the long list of Bay Area restaurants she wants to try.
