Magnitude 3.7 earthquake strikes east of Clearlake

A magnitude 3.7 earthquake struck Northern California on Friday afternoon, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The event – initially listed as a magnitude 3.9 earthquake – came at 2:10 p.m. about 20 miles east of Clearlake, Calif. and 30 miles west of Yuba City, Calif.

The earthquake occurred at a depth of 0.31 miles, per the USGS.

Shaking was felt in Vacaville, outside Sacramento and east of Oroville.

There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage.
