PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The 11-year-old killed in an accident that closed part of the Parkway East Thursday morning has been identified.
Jaiden Childs of Pittsburgh was inside a disabled vehicle in the left lane when it was struck from behind by a truck just before 6:30 a.m.
He was pronounced dead at UPMC Children’s Hospital.
Police say Childs was wearing a seat belt.
Two adult passengers suffered minor injuries.
