PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The Allegheny County Health Department has lifted a consumer alert for a local restaurant.
An initial inspection at Sarafino’s in Crafton found multiple violations including unsafe holding temperatures for food and cooling of prepared foods.
There were also reports of bare hand contact with ready-to-eat food.
The restaurant, on Crafton Avenue, was also cited for lack of a hand-washing sink and “insufficient refrigeration."
The Health Department’s initial report showed a total of 14 violations.
A follow-up inspection shows the restaurant has corrected the previous violations.
