PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - The West Mifflin couple accused of fleeing to Tennessee with their two young children are headed back to Pennsylvania.
32-year-old Jeannette Funnen and 23-year-old Daemon Klingensmith waived their extradition hearing.
Police say they fled after doctors at UPMC Children's questioned bruises on their infant son.
They were found in Marshall County, Tennessee with both children and are charged with obstruction, retaliation and child endangerment.
The couple says it was all a misunderstanding.
