HARRISBURG, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Governor Wolf instituted a statewide business shutdown on Thursday that would close down any non-life sustaining companies.
After receiving numerous waiver requests from businesses, Wolf’s administration is delaying the deadline for the mandate.
It was previously set for Saturday, March 21 at 8 p.m. It’s been moved to Monday, March 23 at 8 a.m.
The decision came to help clarify for businesses whether they qualify as “life sustaining.”
The Department of Community & EconomicDevelopment has a list to check if your business is labeled as life sustaining or not.
For companies that have already been deemed as non-life sustaining, a waiver can be filled out to appeal that ruling.
