PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A long-time EMT workers has lost his life after a battle with pancreatic cancer.
Norm Freehan spent 30 years as a full-time EMT with Medical Rescue Team South Authority.
Freehan has to stop working early this year after his diagnosis.
In a message on Facebook the authority said he “was a friend to all.”
“He was also a car seat technician, husband, and father of two daughters who were his world. EMT Feehan fought courageously through his diagnosis, and now it is his time to rest. You will never be forgotten. RIP, EMT Feehan,” the authority added.
