PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A Pittsburgh Police Officer is being praised for going above and beyond.
On April 14, Zone 3 Officer Jacob Spangler saw a disabled vehicle on the 800 block of Becks Run Road.
The man in the vehicle had run out of gas, so Officer Spangler drove him to a nearby gas station, bought him a $25 gas can so he could get fuel and then helped him get on his way.
“During the COVID-19 health crisis, Pittsburgh Police would like to remind everyone that, as always, our officers are here to serve, as well as protect,” the department said in a Facebook post.
