PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - President Donald Trump is coming to Pittsburgh next week.
Trump will be the keynote speaker during the annual Shale Insight Conference at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center downtown next Wednesday.
According to a release from the Marcellus Shale Coalition, “The President will discuss the importance of American energy development in driving job creation, economic and environmental progress, and strengthened national security.”
“The abundant and clean natural gas safely produced across Appalachia provides good-paying careers for hundreds of thousands of hard-working Americans, especially in our building and union trades,” said Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC) president David Spigelmyer. “With President Trump’s leadership, America’s energy revolution is driving environmental progress and providing benefits, including a manufacturing rebirth, that are making our nation stronger and more secure.”
Trump also spoke at the 2016 Shale Insight when he was a Republican candidate.
The Shale Insight Conference is hosted by the Marcellus Shale Coalition, the Ohio Oil and Gas Association and the West Virginia Oil and Gas Association.
