PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Primanti Bros. is opening its first store in Beaver County.
The Pittsburgh-based restaurant and bar chain’s 43rd location in Monaca/ Center Township opens on Wednesday, March 4.
It is near the Walmart at 3944 Broadhead Road.
To celebrate, the first 100 customers who visit on Wednesday will receive free sandwiches for an entire year.
"Most businesses don’t open their doors, immediately, give away the house and start their first day with zero sales,” said Adam Golomb, Primanti Bros., CMO. “But, we’ve never really been one to stick to the rules.”
People can begin "tailgating" at 5:30 a.m. and the doors will open to the first 100 at 10 a.m.
The restaurant opens to the general public at 11 a.m.
“Fans have been begging us to come to Center Township for years,” said Golomb. “We’re excited to make it a reality.”
Primanti Bros. has been a Pittsburgh tradition since 1933 known for their sandwiches topped with fries and coleslaw.
