PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Vehicles blocked the street in front of the Allegheny County Jail Tuesday, protesting conditions for incarcerated African-American mothers.
The rally began at noon with demonstrators claiming inhumane treatment of inmates before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
They are demanding the courts lift detainers, end cash bail and prioritize release of mothers from the jail.
