PITTSBURGH (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - Allegheny County Chief Executive Rich Fitzgerald announced an emergency declaration for Allegheny County on Thursday.
“I think what the public really needs to do is continue to stay tuned and listen to the health experts - not necessarily things that might be on the internet or on social media,” Fitzgerald said to KDKA Radio on Friday morning.
Certain individuals have to be more careful towards catching the virus than others do.
“We know our seniors have more of a risk, almost like what we go through with the flu every year,” Fitzgerald explains. “For young and healthy people - they are not going to have the same risk factors.”
