The Allegheny County Health Department reported 296 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday.
No new deaths were reported.
Of the new cases reported in the last 24 hours, 180 were confirmed cases, leaving 116 as probable.
The three deaths that the department reported on Wednesday were removed from Allegheny County totals as they were found to be residents of other counties.
Since march of 2021, the county has had 80,941 COVID-19 cases which have resulted in 5,389 hospitalizations and 1,735 deaths.
