An arrest has been made in the killing of a youth football coach last Sunday in Mercer County.
State police say 34 year old Michael Cox of New Castle turned himself in on Thursday for the murder of 45 year old Brandon Smith of Farrell.
Smith had most recently coached a children's football program in the Farrell Area School District.
Police say Cox shot and killed Smith outside the bar called Yank's Place in Farrell just after 1 am on Sunday morning.
Cox is being held without bond in the Mercer County Jail.
