A judge in Beaver County denied Sheldon Jeter's request for a new trial or an evidence hearing.
Earlier in 2021, Jeter was found guilty and sentenced for killing his friend and roommate, Tyric Pugh. He is also a key figure in the unsolved, and unrelated murder of Rachael DelTondo.
Jeter's sentencing came in July as a Beaver County judge sentenced Jeter to life in prison without the possibility of parole after denying a mistrial motion by his attorney.
District Attorney David Lozier said in July, Pugh's family may never know why Jeter shot their son, but they now have some justice.
