A human body was discovered Thursday afternoon in Shaler.
Police say the body was found in the woods near Hahn road around 230 p.m.
It was a bystander who noticed the body in that wooded area and called police.
The medical examiner's office is working to determine the person's identity as well as cause and manner of death.
