A house fire in Pittsburgh's Brighton Heights neighborhood killed two children and a young adult early on Saturday morning.

The fire broke out just before 2:00 a.m. in the 3400 block of McClure Street. There is no word out yet at what caused the three-alarm fire.

At the time of the fire there were 13 people in the house, 10 of them were able to get out, but one adult female was transported to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Police said then the bodies of two children and one young adult were recovered later on. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office identified the young adult as 19-year-old Dijion Hutchinson.

In addition, a firefighter on the scene was taken to the hospital to treat an arm laceration.

The American Red Cross of Greater Pennsylvania has been called to aid and resources for the residents who have been affected by the fire.

Fire Chief Darryl Jones talked to KDKA-TV and weighed in on the tragedy, "I'm worried about the families of the victims and I'm worried about my guys as well. A lot of times people don't understand how this affects the first responders who come out on these calls. We're going to look after each other, but it's been a tough morning, it's been a pretty tough week."

There has been a string of fatal fires this week including at a Downtown high rise.
