Carnegie Robotics has officially purchased its 50,000-square-foot headquarters in Lawrenceville from the Regional Industrial Development Corporation (RIDC).
According to a report by the Pittsburgh Business Times, the autonomous technology company exercised an established option agreement to buy the four-acre property. Known locally as the "Blue Building," the facility has served as Carnegie Robotics' headquarters under a lease agreement since 2014.
The acquisition marks a key milestone for Pittsburgh’s burgeoning "Robotics Row" and represents the first time RIDC has sold a property within its 14-acre Lawrenceville Technology Center campus.
