A Carnegie Mellon University police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident in former President Donald Trump's motorcade to Acrisure Stadium on Sunday night.

It happened around 8:45 p.m. on Carson Street near the West End Circle.

The officer was thrown from the motorcycle when it hit a curb and was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

Pittsburgh Public Safety says the motorcade continued without being interrupted.

Trump took a break from campaigning to watch the Steelers game last night.

The former president was invited to the game by a suite holder.
