
PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) As Nov. 2, better known as Election Day, approaches voters are being reminded that the deadline to apply for a mail-in and absentee ballot is coming up.

For voters within Allegheny County who plan on sending in their ballots must have applied with the Elections Division by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
As of Oct. 21, there are 137,889 applications that hace been approved for mail-in or absentee ballots.
For those voting in person on Election Day, the county has warned of new polling places.
Approximately 14,000 households will receive letters regarding information on the moving of polling places.
Polls open at 7:00 a.m. on election day and are open until 8:00 p.m.
