The Crack'd Egg in Brentwood is not open to serve food anymore.
They're still closed down due to a court injunction ordering them to cease and desist operations until they follow all COVID-19 mandates.
But Owner Kim Waigand refuses to do that, saying it's a violation of her freedoms.
She tells the KDKA Radio Morning Show that they have appealed the ruling and have a court case coming up in June that will be heard by a three-judge panel in Harrisburg.
"We have one of the top five court cases in Pennsylvania against the mask mandates. So people need to realize how huge this case is. It's not just for the 'Egg,' it's for all the people of Pennsylvania," explained Waigand.
In the meantime, Waigand has a new business venture. She has a Mother's Day event this weekend in which vendors will be selling unique homemade crafts for 'Mom.'
