New twists in the case of that missing woman from Ligonier whose body was found Wednesday.
The Westmoreland County District Attorney's office says the man responsible for the death of Amy Shipley, committed suicide.
Investigators say they were prepared to arrest Shipley's live-in boyfriend Robert Angelo Thursday morning, but discovered he had killed himself once they had arrived.
Officials say Shipley died in her home on Sunday, September 8 and was buried on property on Helens Lane in Cook Township, Westmoreland County.
An autopsy was performed on Wednesday and her cause of death will be determined following “further review of autopsy results and toxicology tests.”
