Monroeville, PA (Newsradio 1020 KDKA) - A Gateway High School student has tested positive for COVID-19.
This is the second student to test positive for the virus in the last two weeks.
As a result, the school will close for at least the next five days and all learning will be done remotely.
In a letter posted to their website, the district says "The student has been quarantined and has not been within the building since September 22, 2020."
In addition, the high school football game between Gateway and Pine Richland scheduled for Friday night has been canceled.
