
A man from Indiana is facing a number of charges after allegedly passing counterfeit $100 bills in a Pittsburgh area mall.
Bethel Park Police announced Thursday that they arrested 22-year-old Abryen Burnett of Indianapolis on July 2.
Burnett is accused of passing the bills at a number of stores in South Hills Village Mall.
Police say the man gave them a fake name and other false identifying information. They also reportedly found more counterfeit bills in Burnett's possession.
Burnett has been charged with Forgery, Theft by Deception, Criminal Attempt, and False Identification to Law Enforcement.
