The primary election is in the rearview mirror. Turnout wasn't bad for a primary, 30 percent. Now, with the general election a little more than five months away, we're asking you to register to vote if you need to.
You can do it online in a few minutes.
We're also asking those who are registered to start doing some homework on the candidates, especially in the races for Allegheny County executive and district attorney.
Each candidate has websites laying out their positions. Plus, an online search will reveal where their campaign funds are coming from.
Don't allow the lop-sided primary results to influence your decision to participate in November.
Remember, independent voters were excluded. Their numbers are growing the most in Pennsylvania. Please heed this call to action! You can count on us to repeat it as November draws nearer.
Why?
Because the future of the county is at stake. You'll find links to register and for the major candidates at KDKA Radio dot com.
