You may notice something new at Kennywood Park this season.
The Racer is getting a bit of a touch up.
Crews at the park are replacing more than 500 feet of track on the classic roller coaster.
The work is focusing on the front and back turnarounds as part of their winter maintenance program.
The Racer is the only single-continuous track coaster in the nation.
In November, the park announced that they would be retiring several iconic rides, including the Kangaroo, Bayern Kurve and others.
When Kennywood opens in the spring, there will be a new policy in place requiring chaperones for minors.
