Cornerback Antwan Black Jr. was taken to the hospital after the Laurel Highlands player took a hit to the head against Kiski Area toward the end of the game.
That game was delayed but later continued.
Lineman Michael Egeto of Shenango was hospitalized after he also suffered a head injury during a game against Riverdale.
He was injured in the second quarter and reportedly went home on Sunday
A Sto-Rox football player was hurt, suffering a concussion during a game against Avonworth. He was later released from the hospital.
On Monday night, the Tribune Review reports a player for Latrobe was taken to a hospital by helicopter after he suffered an injury during a game against Thomas Jefferson.
His condition and identify are not known.
The injuries come after Karns City’s quarterback was injured earlier this month.
Mason Martin was injured during a game against Redbank Valley. He suffered a collapsed lung and brain bleed.
