A longtime running, popular restaurant on Route 22 will be closing within the next couple weeks.
The Wagon Wheel Restaurant in Greensburg announced the closure on social media.
“We are incredibly grateful for your friendship and support of the last six decades. Four generations of our family have been raised in this restaurant and it will forever be a part of our story.,” the owners said in a post.
An exact date was not given but they will continue to operate with limited hours until they run out of supplies. They say they’ll close sometime before Thanksgiving.
The Wagon Wheel recently celebrated 60 years in business.
The restaurant served breakfast, lunch and dinner and had plenty of “Homestead Favorites” including Salisbury steak, homemade meatloaf, liver and onions, chicken, seafood, sandwiches and more.
A reason for the closure was not given.
