A local restaurant offering Mexican fusion food closed abruptly Monday.
SoCal Mexicali Grill in New Kensington announced Monday its closing down indefinitely.
Owner Sean Watson said on Facebook that they just weren’t getting enough costumers.
“Thank you so much for the past 2 years of love and support. This wasn’t an easy decision but it is just not a viable option at this point to continue. I can act like I’m not sad but I really am.”
SoCal offered things like chicken, fish, steak and other types of Tacos, Poke Bowls, Pizza Box Nachos, Quesadillas, Burritos, burgers, sandwiches and more.
The restaurant opened at 700 5th Avenue in 2022.
