Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man was found shot on the front porch of his home in Carrick.
Officers were sent to Maytide Street around 8:45 p.m. Sunday for reports of a male who had suffered a gunshot wound to the chest.
Officers then found the man, thought to be in his late 40s or early 50s.
The victim was transported to an area hospital in critical condition, where he was later pronounced deceased, according to police.
There are no witnesses at this time and an investigation is ongoing.
