Tuesday headlines

Pittsburgh's Headlines: September 8, 2026

The home of Steelers first-round draft pick Max Iheanachor was burglarized late last month.

Pittsburgh Public Safety told KDKA Radio on Tuesday that Iheanachor’s Mount Washington residence was burglarized in broad daylight on August 26, just before 2 p.m.

Pittsburgh Police say two people inside the home told them between $150,000 to $200,000 in jewelry and designer bags were taken from the home.

The occupants of the home told police they were gone between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. on August 26 and that the doors of the home were locked during the day.

Iheanachor said when he returned to the residence, the garage door was open and a window had been broken by a rock.

As of Tuesday afternoon, no arrests have been made.
