Mindful Brewing in Castle Shannon has been closed since early November, but will return under a new name.
Mindful will become Chimera Brewing. It will still be at the same location on Library Road.
The brewery also has new owners, the Galley Group, the ones behind Federal Galley on the North Shore (near the Children’s Museum) and Arthur’s Korner Pub in Mt.
Lebanon.
“Our focus is on craft, cuisine, and community,” Galley Group wrote on Facebook.
Chimera Brewing hopes to be open by late summer.
“We know how important Mindful Brewing was to the South Hills community and promise to continue to provide a great atmosphere for your friends, family, and others alike,” Galley Group said.
