Last week Jessica Bolger told News Radio KDKA's Lynne Hayes Freeland about a second wedding dress that she found in the same box as her preserved dress - 24 years after her wedding.
She told Lynne that the dress made it through a couple of moves after being cleaned and preserved in Pittsburgh back in 1997.
At first she thought that it may have been her mother's dress from the wedding, but in all of her wedding photos, her mother was in a different dress.
Bolger took to social media, hoping to reunite the dress with its rightful owner.
As it turns out, she didn't have to look far.
After speaking with her family and looking through her mother's wedding album, they realized that it was her mother's dress from her first wedding. Jessica told Lyne that her mom, Joyce Berman, didn't recognize the dress because it had yellowed and some of the bow on the back just wasn't her style.
However, after comparing details of the dress to the old photos, Jessica said it's most certainly her mother's dress.
She thanked everyone for their willingness to help find the owner.
