The Beaver County Humane Society is offering a reward for information after two stray kittens were found with “disfiguring wounds.”

$500 is being offered after the cats were found in Beaver Falls and brought to the Humane Society last week.

After an examination, it was found the cats had “intentionally inflicted, disfiguring wounds.”

“It appears that each of them had a band placed around a back leg intentionally, which lead to the tissue and bone becoming necrotic and the limb fell off.” Said shelter Veterinarian who performed their leg amputations.

The amputations give the kittens the best chance at a “normal life”.

The kittens do not have names and the Humane Society is asking the public for name suggestions.

Those can be submitted on their website or Facebook page.

The Beaver County Humane Society has a TLC fund and Humane Investigations Fund to help the kittens and other animals in need.
