One dead, another wounded in two separate Pittsburgh shootings
One person is dead and another was wounded after two separate shooting in Pittsburgh.
Around 10:30 p.m. Sunday, Pittsburgh Police found a man suffering from a gun shot wounds to the chest and leg on the 6900 block of Wiltsie Street in Lincoln-Lemington-Belmar.
Witnesses said the man was also hit by a vehicle.
The victim as pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are also instigating an overnight shooting in Arlington Heights. Officers were sent to the 3100 block of Cordell Place around 12:30 a.m.
Officers say the shooting happened during an argument in the hallway of an apartment building.
Police say the gunman called 911, identified himself and surrendered to officers when they arrived.
The victim had wounds in the cheek and leg and was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
