
PITTSBURGH (100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA) Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto is in Scotland for the United Nations Climate Change Conference.

The conference is a summit is critical in climate action across the world.
Collaboration between cities and countries enhances the ideas and ambitions being set forth by the world’s top leaders.
The mayor tweeted his arrival in Edinboro Tuesday afternoon, saying the city will continue to integrate sustainability and introduce legislation for electric vehicles.
During his visit, Mayor Peduto will also attend the Climate Challenge Cup Awards.
The awards have brought projects from across the globe to help counteract the events of the climate crisis.
Pittsburgh has two projects among the 12 finalists.
In a release from the Mayor’s office, Peduto’s trip was not paid for with tax payer dollars.
