The University of Pittsburgh has announced new COVID-19 mitigation amidst rising cases.
In accordance with the CDC guidelines, masks will be required indoors for three Pitt campuses, including its main campus, Greensburg and Titusville.
The CDC moved Allegheny, Westmoreland and Crawford counties into its "High" level. If a county is in that tier, it recommends masking indoors.
Pitt's Bradford and Johnstown's campuses mask policy remains at optional.
The new mask mandate does not have an expiration date, as it is until further notice.
