A Pittsburgh-area Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen has been ordered closed after several reported violations.
The Popeyes on William Penn Highway was ordered closed late last week after wastewater was found on food contact surfaces and other equipment.
Other violations include lack of hot water and no running water in bathrooms. Water was found leaking in the “toilet room, equipment and food supply storage and ware washing areas.”
The order to closed was issued on Thursday and as over Monday, January 27, remains active on the Allegheny County Health Department’s website.
The Wilkins Popeyes was also hit with a Consumer Alert by the Health Department in February 2023 after a roof leak was observed above storage and washing locations.
